Thy Daily Bread

.....Give us this day, our daily bread.....

For those of you who know me well, you know that I absolutely love bread. If I had to choose anything to live on, it would be bread. I love nothing more than a freshly baked italian loaf of bread from the store.... yum!!! So every time I eat this bread, I always have the same revelation. It's not that mind blowing, but it always makes me think the same thing. That the word of God, is often compared to being our daily bread and sustenance. Something we crave and yearn for and can't get enough of. This is what I think of while eating bread-but I always feel convicted that I should be feeling that same passion and craving for the word of God, that it should fill me up spiritually.
